Back in the early/mid 1990s there was a Philly band called Kitschchao. The article is about the singer, Tristan. He went on to write some amazing books including Lord of the Barnyard and Kornwolf. (Just for the record, Kornwolf is about a werewolf in Lancaster County)

of van theft in the City of Brotherly Love. In October and November,
punk band Strung Out and ska-sters Suburban Legends were each robbed of
their touring vehicles, gear, merch, and personal possessions. Despite
recovering their vans and trailers, no gear and precious little of
anything else remained for either band.
Cheap
Shot! takes a look at these last two thefts by speaking with members of both
bands. Some possible solutions to the problem - as well as preventitive
measures bands can take - are also discussed.

| PHILLY DOGS NEED URGENT HELP! |

many of you know, the last few days have been particularly difficult at
PAWS. Our kennels are extremely overcrowded; we have been taking in
literally dozens upon dozens of dogs each day. We are doing everything
we can to save them, but we cannot do it without your help.
We
have more than doubled the number of scheduled adoption events this
weekend and we are asking for your help in spreading the word.
If
you or anyone you know has been considering adopting or fostering an
animal, now is the time. Our weekend calendar of events is as follows:
SATURDAY, December 8:
Shelter Adoption Hours: 11am-6pm
South Philly PetSmart (24th & Oregon Ave.), 11am-3pm
Cottman Avenue PetSmart (7501 Horrocks St), 11am-3pm
Manayunk (Main St Animal Clinic, 4331 Main Street), 12-3pm
Buzzy's Bow WOW Meow (701 Montgomery Avenue, Narberth, PA), 12-4 p.m.
